Returns & Refunds Policy

At The Pickle Project, we stand by the quality of our homemade pickles. Please review our straightforward India-only policy below.


1. Return Window & Eligibility

  • Damage Claims

    • Report cracked jars, leaking lids, or visible tampering within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Spoilage or Foul Flavor Claims

    • Report any off-smell, mold, or unexpected taste within 72 hours of delivery.

  • Condition

    • Jars must be unopened with intact seals. Opened or consumed products are not eligible for return.

  • Investigation

    • All return or refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Approval and resolution (refund or replacement) will be granted only after our quality team completes its investigation.


2. How to Initiate a Return or Claim

  1. Email us at sales@thepickleproject.com within the above timeframes.

  2. Include your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photos or a short video showing the damage or spoilage.

  3. We’ll acknowledge your request within 2 business days and guide you through the next steps.


3. Refunds & Replacements

  • Approval

    • Following our investigation, you may choose either:

      • A full refund to your original payment method, or

      • A replacement jar sent at no extra cost.

  • Processing Time

    • Refunds are processed within 10 business days of approval. It may take 2–5 more days for your bank or card issuer to post the funds.

  • Delayed Refunds


4. Shipping Costs

  • For approved damage or spoilage claims, we cover all return shipping and the cost of any replacements.


5. Order Cancellation

  • Before Shipment Only: You may cancel your order only if it has not yet shipped.

  • Once your order is dispatched, it cannot be canceled.
